Hej!
Går det att bevaka en nätverksutrustning (ex: webbserver, router, mm) i Node-RED/IoTOpen via ping?

Yes, that can be done with both an edge-app or Node-RED. There is also a custom software to IoT Open for this called "Gateway-monitor". For Node-RED there is a ping node you can try. And for edge-app I have one that I can publish later today or tomorrow. I have to do that on my spare time since there is a lot to do right now 😃

I made a small Edge-app that can ping one or more ip-addresses or hostnames. You have to manually create a function for it to reports it's status to. It sends on topic_read. The value is the number of hosts down. So zero is ok and everything else means there are hosts down. The msg includes in text what hosts that are up and down.
