Not sure. There might be alternatives, but the easiest would be to extend the LoRa network.

Extending LoRa may be an option but requires electricity. They use sim cards with Tele2 today and the battery runs out quickly. Could a sim with roaming work better for battery life?

The alternative would be to use some kind of 4G sensor but those have a tendency to have much shorter battery life. And if 4G with power is needed then it should be equally possible to find a suitable location and put in a 4G capable LoRa Gateway.

The other option would be to connect the sensor to some other LoRa network if there is coverage. Something like Netmore. This is also supported as a provider in IoT Open.
