I have heard about Smartstart function that can allow us to scan QR-code of Z-wave sensorer/actuators for includering. Is this function available at lynx.iotopen.se portal or something I need to install on local Z-Wave gateway?

There is currently no SmartStart functionality in the IoT Open Zwave daemon. You have to initiate the pairing first on the gateway and then on the device.
