Hi
When sms login is enabled in lynx.iotopen.se. I could n't be able to login into IoTAppen på Android.
It just works with email/password.

Yes, this is a known limitation on the app. We are working on it even though it is not so high on the list because there are not so many customers using sms login.

There is a problem with the IoTOpen app for Andriod. Sometimes it works to control actuators and sometimes it does not do the jobb. The problem is not with the login. I can login and choose the desired installation and can also see the functions, but the actuator like a switch does not response when moving the switch to on/off.

Some users also mensioned that they couldn't be able to install it on newer mobile telefones!
Maybe, is it the time for upgrading with a new version

unvacs If there are any students, that would like to work with app development we could probably provide the code written i React Native for you to rebuild newer iOS and Android apps. I guess that is a bit too big step for your students but keep in mind. Regarding the no response when controlling a switch - could it be the app or on the GW?Same result after app restart? Can you in the IoT Open Frontend MQTT-window see the message from the mobile device? Be aware of that the current app needs a proper feedback from the backend i.e. if you in the app set a Switch ON, it also need to receive a feedback from the backend that the command was successfully performed all the way to the device and back to the app. If not, the OFF feature is not enabled. N.B in the current app version, as I remember, is actually listens on the WRITE topics and not the READ topics for feedback which is an app design fault. You test this functionality and process flow by sending data (read vs write topic etc) to the app via e.g. Node-RED for test purposes.
