Simple switch/relay over network

I would like to find some product which does the following, or assist in the following:

Have 2 devices connected on the same local network. One is the master, one the slave. The slave would simply be a device which would either output a voltage, or close relay contacts, based on a command from the master. The master could be either, a box with actual hardware switches to control the slave, or an interface to a computer on which the slave could be controlled via an app, or terminal commands.

I would also be interested in devices which work in a similar way, but offering more functionality.

I have no idea what search terms to use for something like this, as the only terms I can think of are so generic (network ethernet switch iot etc) and come up with all kinds of things which are not what I want.

Just to be clear what you need is two smart power switches and this is not directly related with IoT-Open platform?
Similar to these?

The master / slave concept might need some extra logic running somewhere (App or iot-software ) but should be easy enough.

I've looked up this product. The price is right, unfortunately this is WIFI, and I need ethernet.

Many IoT product can do what you want. But i most cases they can do more stuff and might be expensive. @tobiasjonsson has suggested one that probably will do the job.

Depending on what level of DIY you want this can be easily accomplished with a Raspberry Pi or any micro controller board.

To get more precise help you probably need to tell more about what you are buildning.

Im sorry but I dont know any ethernet variants. Im sure there are and perhaps you should be able to do something with microcontrollers. I cant not help you further since I dont have any experience in this field but If you perhaps share more information about the design requirements and distances involved. Perhaps someone can come up with an alternative
