I'm going in circles trying to read the modbus registers for a TUF-2000b non invasive water flow meter.
The gateway i'm using is a Blliot R10a Gateway which expects the modbus register in decimal format. It doesn't matter which register i read i always get the number 4294967296. The manual give Reg address 4114H which Chat GPT converted to 16663 i'm expecting a positive number of 345 not 4194967296. this long number is not changing when the meter counts up.
Hopefully that makes sense. Does anyone have any experience of these meters?
PS for anyone who might chance upon this, my first battle was finding a couplant that worked long term and won't dry out. (this is for a permanent installation) Silicon Grease from toolstation did the job. My second battle was getting the OCT output to pulse into a Dragino CPL03-LB sensor. I gave up on that one hence i'm now trying to get modbus working.
